With just two days until nominations open for this year's Highways Heroes awards, a record number of sponsors have already committed for this year's event.
This means that there are now just two pre-sale tables available, with all others reserved for shortlisted nominees.
Taking place on 30th November at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Soho, the Highways Heroes are the blue ribband awards for our sector and are unique as being the only ceremony which represents individuals who have gone over and above.
Whether it's saving someone from danger or risk of injury, helping a member of the public to safety, or supporting a team member in the face of abuse, our winners are named a Highways Hero as part of this unique awards event.
Speaking about the level of interest in this year's event, founder Kevin Robinson said,
"Every year in our wash-up meeting we ask the question can we top last year's event and every year without fail industry steps up to do exactly that.
"Whether record pre-sales or exceptionally high calibre entries we never fail to be astounded at the support the event receives.
"For that myself and the whole team behind the event are incredibly grateful."
Entries for this year's event open this Wednesday (1st March) with numbers expected to exceed last year's 226 nominations.
