Highways Heroes Awards now a total sell out

Tables for this years Highways Heroes Awards, principally supported by National Highways are now completely sold out.

The organisers announced table sales were going on sale yesterday morning, Monday 24th October, at 9am, the website crashed and tables sold In just 9 minutes.

Having announced an extra ten tables made available for sale ahead of this years Highways Heroes Awards sell out and a large number of people who registered interest, the organisers managed to make another 10 tables available for the evening of 7th December.

These have now been sold with the final table allocated to John Sisk and Sons today.

Set up after a time of unprecedented change not only in our industry, but as part of our everyday lives. Safer Highways believes this is the ideal time to celebrate the hard work and success of our workers, who have coped admirably in the face of adversity, to recognise the heroic actions of them which, until now, has gone unnoticed.

In order to make the process of table allocation fair and just the organisers prioritised reservations to those organisations who have shortlisted individuals, in order that they can show their support for their colleagues, what will follow next week will be the extremely limited sale (due to covid restrictions) of any remaining tables to industry.

Speaking about the situation, Kevin Robinson, founder of the awards said,

"We never expected again for this to happen and have such a high demand for tables, even after expanding the event from our first year in 2021.

"Through effective collaboration with the venue, we were then able to make a further ten tables available and following Sisk taking the final table allocated to shortisted organisations this means the event is now fully sold out.

"The event has now seen a 66% increase in those wanting tables for this year's event, something which is unprecedented in these continued uncertain times so I am grateful to all sponsors and organisations who have committed to the event."

Taking place on the 7th December at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, the event will be a celebration of those individuals who have gone over and above their job role and really made a difference to their peers and members of the public.
