Highways Heroes Announces a raft of new first-time sponsors

Industry recognition awards announce a raft of new sponsors for the 2022 event joining a vast number of returning sponsors.

The Highways Heroes awards, the only ceremony which recognises the individuals we put to work have today, (24th May) announced a raft of new sponsors who have committed to the event for the first time this year.

Alongside Platinum Sponsor, Galliford Try Highways, and a raft of returning sponsors, the new organisations who have committed to sponsoring the event are:

  • Acklea (Enterprise)

  • Amberon

  • Barrier Services

  • Delta Bloc

  • Mace

  • Multevo

  • Virtus.

Speaking about the announcement, Freya Wells, co-founder of the Highways Heroes awards said,

"I am delighted that as we move into year 2 of the Heroes awards our industry truly sees a value in what we strive to achieve in recognising our people.

"The level of commitment from existing and new sponsors is simply amazing and I am truly grateful to those organisations who have bought into our vision and belief."

The Highways Heroes Awards come after a time of unprecedented change not only in our industry, but as part of our everyday lives.

We believe this is the ideal time to celebrate the hard work and success of our workers, who have coped admirably in the face of adversity, to recognise the heroic actions of them which, until now, has gone unnoticed.

We don’t need you to write an essay or even get the grammar right, we just need you to step back from the day job and think about all those things we do that go above and beyond the ‘day job’. Ideally, we want people to nominate their colleagues, peers, team members or managers or maybe the person is an industry colleague from another company.

Nominations will close on 31st August 2022 so there isn't much time to get your thinking caps on for the nominations so we urge you to act sooner rather than later if you feel you know somebody who should be recognised.

For all information, please go to: www.highwaysheroes.com, where there will be additional insight from the judges and some of the sponsors. Table sponsorships are still open, please email freya.wells@saferhighways.co.uk to enquire.
