Highways Heroes 2022 recap video released

Highlights video from 2022 Highways Heroes Awards Released

The highlights video from this year's groundbreaking Highways Heroes Awards have now been released.

The event, which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London last Wednesday (7th December) recognised over 40 individuals who have gone over and above with no thought for their own personal wellbeing to have a positive impact upon others.

A unique event, the Highways Heroes, is the only awards ceremony which recognises the ordinary individuals amongst us for simple acts of human kindness with no corporate values attached to it.

Whether it's saving someone from danger or risk of injury, helping a member of the public to safety, or supporting a team member in the face of abuse, the Highways Heroes remains the only event truly for thew people in our sector, delivered by the people in our sector.

Set up after a time of unprecedented change not only in our industry, but as part of our everyday lives. Safer Highways believes this is the ideal time to celebrate the hard work and success of our workers, who have coped admirably in the face of adversity, to recognise the heroic actions of them which, until now, has gone unnoticed.

Speaking about his pride looking back at the 2022 ceremony, Kevin Robinson, founder of the Highways Heroes said,

"Wow, what can I say yet again the industry takes its blue ribband awards ceremony to the very centre of its heart, a truly inspirational night which myself and the team are incredibly proud to be a part of.

"We thought that this year with the cost of living crisis and the impact of Brexit we may have to be slightly more realistic in our expectations, but yet again our industry have exceeded our expectations when it comes to their desire to recognise our unsung heroes.

"These awards never cease to amaze me in the way that they touch so many across our sector and for that I am proud to be the gatekeeper of them.

"To everyone across our sector I say a big and heartfelt thanks."
