Louise Cope is an accomplished C-suite leader with over 20 years’ experience across operations, people, quality, and corporate functions. Currently Director at HW Martin, she plays a pivotal role in shaping strategic business direction, driving operational excellence, and leading transformational change across the organisation.

Previously, Louise held senior positions including Director at Go Traffic Management (supporting Network Plus), Chief Operations Officer at Chevron Traffic Management, Director of People & Operations at Nationwide Crash Repair Centres, and Board Director for HR and Service Excellence at Parseq. Her leadership has consistently delivered business optimisation, enhanced workforce engagement, and high-impact HR and operational strategies across diverse sectors.

Louise’s core expertise includes strategic business management, organisational development, governance and compliance, and influencing at board level. She has led large-scale transformation programmes, developed executive leadership frameworks, and overseen integration and change initiatives such as M&A, TUPE, and redundancy programmes.

Known for her strong commercial acumen, Louise drives innovation through technology, operational and HR excellence, and future-focused business planning. She brings specialist knowledge in talent management, succession planning, performance management, and employee relations. Her hands-on leadership style has supported high-performing teams across shared services, corporate and HR functions.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD), Louise holds a Master’s in Human Resources Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in HR, and a BA (Hons) in Business Operations Management & Administration. She contributes to industry steering committees and maintains active CPD, recently completing courses in strategy, organisational development, leadership, conflict management, financial management, and workplace mediation.
